2021 MLB American League Cy Young Betting Odds & Predictions

The AL Cy Young is a 3 man race as the 2021 season comes to a close. Yankees Ace Gerrit Cole is the slight favorite followed closely by Carlos Rodon and Lance Lynn of the Chicago White Sox. The Award will go to which ever pitcher can maintain their form helping to lead their team into the postseason.

After a rocky start to his Yankees career Gerrit Cole has seemingly found his way in New York. Cole has had bad outings here and there but has dominated the AL for the most part with a variety of pitches and precision location. Cole is on route to win 20 games for New York in 2021 making him the clear cut favorite to hoist his first career Cy Young Award.

Carlos Rodon started the 2021 season on a tear and seemed to be the clear cut Cy Young winner. Rodon has since stumbled over the summer as he has been brought back to earth after dropping a few games. Rodon is still poised with the second best chance to win the award and with a little slip from Cole could lead to Rodon slipping in to steal the award.

Lance Lynn hold the most value in the top 3 with the best overall numbers. Cole is the leader in situations and some percentages but Lynn has the most wins with 10 and the best ERA by a wide margin. Lynn has been the best pitcher on the White Sox this summer and has a great chance to shoot past the top 2 and take the AL Cy Young home.
