2020 Cincinnati Reds Preview - MLB Odds, Picks, & Predictions

The Reds are one team that has to be very disappointed in the postponed season so far. The Reds had made some major off season moves that brought in quite a bit of talent to the roster and took the Reds from the level of being towards the bottom of the league to potentially being a contender this year.

What is really impressive is the strength of the Reds pitching staff. The starters last year ended up being among the best in the majors. The relievers, though, were questionable and did have some changes that would have helped the Reds out quite a bit. The closer for the Reds looked really good on the year last season and that could definitely carry over to this season as well.

The infield for the Reds is coming in with some of the same players as last year. However, one addition that the Reds made was Mike Moustakas who played really well last year. The Reds did not really add any depth to the infield and with the injury history that has come to Eugenio Suarez it could be very difficult for the Reds to be competitive if Suarez goes down again.

When it come to the outfield the Reds should be fairly stable as well. The Reds are younger in the outfield and that will make a difference, but the talent level the Reds have in place in the outfield if it lives up to the hype could be almost as competitive as the proven outfields of the Yankees and other teams.
