The Wyoming Cowboys are set to visit Romney Stadium in Logan, Utah for a Mountain West Conference clash against the Utah State Aggies. The Wyoming Cowboys come into this matchup with a 6-3 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent road game against the Boise State Broncos, 20-17. Sophomore QB Tyler Vander Waal wasn’t asked to do much through the air for Wyoming as he connected on 15 of his 23 pass attempts for 160 yards. Sophomore RB Xazavian Valladay had a big game on the ground for the Cowboys as he ran for 124 yards and a TD on 37 carries.

The Wyoming Cowboys were solid on the defensive side of the ball against the Boise State Broncos as they held them to 20 points and a total of 285 yards of offense. Senior LB Logan Wilson led the way for the Wyoming defense with 10 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 TFL while also hauling in the lone interception of the game. Senior safety Alijah Halliburton had a productive game from the secondary for the Cowboys as he pitched in 10 tackles and 1 TFL.

The Utah State Aggies come into this matchup with a 5-4 record, and they will be looking to continue their success after winning their recent road game against the Fresno State Bulldogs, 37-35. Junior QB Jordan Love had a big game through the air for Utah State as he connected on 30 of his 39 pass attempts for 388 yards and 2 TDs. Senior WR Siaosi Mariner was the top target for Love and the Aggies as he hauled in 11 catches for 103 yards and 2 TDs.

The Utah State Aggies struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Fresno State Bulldogs as they allowed them to score 35 points and rack up a total of 419 yards of offense. Junior safety Troy Lefeged Jr. led the way for the Utah State defense with 7 tackles. The Aggies were able to get into the Fresno State backfield a handful of times as senior CB DJ Williams pitched in 4 tackles and 2 TFL while junior safety Shaq Bond contributed 6 tackles and 1 TFL.

The Wyoming Cowboys have been very impressive this season as they are 6-3 with a big win over Missouri while Utah State has not lived up to expectations. Wyoming plays a traditional style of football as they look to run the ball on offense, and they have a very good defense. Utah State has not been able to find as much success on offense this season due to the play of Jordan Love as he has thrown 11 TDs compared to 12 interceptions. Wyoming ranks 14th in college football in points allowed as they are allowing an average of 17.9 PPG, and that alone will help keep the Cowboys in this game. Final Score Prediction, Utah State Aggies win but fail to cover ATS 21-17.
