WVU at NC State 9/15/18 - College Football Picks & Predictions

West Virginia hits the road again this week as the Mountaineers head to N.C. State to take on the Wolfpacks. The Mountaineers beat up on the Vols in Tennessee 40-14 in Week 1 took care of business at home 52-17 last week against Youngstown St.

The Mountaineers QB Will Grier has 9 touchdowns on the season with just 1 interception. Grier has also averaged more than 12 yards per completion in both games so far. RB Laddie Brown scored his first touchdown of the season last week and had 115 yards on 15 carries. West Virginia's defense has been solid and have not allowed more than 17 points yet. The N.C. State Wolfpack made sure they did not over look Week 2 in preparation for this weeks game. The Wolfpack beat Georgia State 41-7 last Week. N.C. State is 2-0 on the season but they have had two easy games, also playing James Madison at home winning 24-13. The Wolfpack have struggled in recent history covered the spread against non-conference opponents.

QB Ryan Finley has found success through the first two games. The Wolfpack's QB Finley has 4 touchdowns with 1 interception on the season. RB Brady Bodine had 5 carries for 50 yards with a touchdown last week in his first game appearance.
