Purdue is 5-2 since an 0-3 start on the season, so the Boilermakers may be better than their 5-5 record might indicate. Purdue hosts Wisconsin this weekend and could become bowl eligible with a win. Purdue is also 3-0 against ranked teams. Wisconsin is 6-4 and two losses were to ranked teams. The Badgers have rotated wins and losses the last six weeks. Both teams are coming off a loss this week.

Purdue has a prolific offense. David Blough has passed for 2825 yards, 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions. DJ Knox has rushed for 787 yard nd eight touchdowns. Rondale Moore has 909 yards receiving, and eight touchdowns. Two more players have 550 or more yards receiving.

Wisconsin's offense is led by Jonathan Taylor who has run for 1548 yards and 12 touchdowns. Alex Hornibrook ha s passed for 1343 yards, 11 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Wisconsin has 24 rushing touchdowns and a 6.2 yards per carry average. Wisconsin is averaging 28.9 points and giving up 21 pe game. Purdue is averaging 31 points and giving up 26. Purdue averages 460 yards and 311 of that through the air. The Boilermakers are giving up 426 yards per game, 281 of that passing. Wisconsin is averaging 266 rushing and 162 passing. The Badgers are holding teams to 190 yards passing and 161 rushing.

Wisconsin has won the last 12 games of this series, but last year's 17-9 win was the closest one. Wisconsin leads the all-time series 48-29-8.
