The Western Michigan Broncos will go on the road in week eight to take on the Toledo rockets after a two game homestand. Western Michigan comes into this game 5-2 overall with a 2-1 conference record after a 64-31 win over Kent State. Quarterback Kaleb Eleby lead the charge for Western Michigan against Kent steak going 15-22 through the air for 307 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 33 yards and one touchdown on 3 carries.

Western Michigan as a team ran the ball well combining for 341 yards and five scores on 51 total carries. Sean Tyler let all ballcarrier's with the 169 yards and one touchdown on 17 carries. La’Darius Jefferson and Jaxson Kincaide Chipped in for 123 yards and three scores on 27 carries combined.  

The Toledo rockets limp into week eight with a 3-4 record overall riding a two-game losing streak. Toledo lost a week ago on the road 26-23 against Central Michigan in overtime. Dequan Finn led the Toledo offense going 15-32 passing for 208 yards, while adding 43 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries.

Isaiah Winstead chipped in with four receptions for 108 yards, while Bryant Koback added 39 yards on four catches, while leading the team with 87 rushing yards on 15 carries.

The Broncos are the better team in this game and have been playing much better as of late. WMU has the better offense and will lean on that side of the ball in week 8.
