Western Kentucky at UT San Antonio 12/3/21 - College Football Picks & Predictions

In Friday night college football action, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers will battle the UTSA Roadrunners for the Conference USA Championship. The Hilltioppers (8-4) are riding a seven-game winning streak and lead the nation in passing offense (422.8 ypg). On Saturday, Western Kentucky exploded for 47 points during the second half of a 53-21 road triumph against Marshall.

Western Kentucky QB Bailey Zappe threw all four of his touchdown passes in the second half and finished with 328 yards passing. Daewood Davis hauled in scoring passes of 47 and 50 yards for the Hilltoppers.

The UTSA Roadrunners reeled off 11 straight victories to start the season and are scoring 36.9 points per contest. On Saturday, UTSA’s bid for a perfect season fell short during a 45-23 road loss against North Texas. The 22nd ranked Roadrunners (11-1) trailed by 28 points at halftime and were gashed for 340 rushing yards on 60 carries. 

UTSA QB Frank Harris was limited to 59 yards passing and scored on a 69-yard touchdown run. Tre’Von Bradley caught a 67 yard pass from Eddie Lee Marburger to close the scoring out for the Roadrunners.
