Western Kentucky at Army 9/11/21 - NCAA Football Picks & Predictions

Michie Stadium will play host to a Saturday afternoon college football clash between the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and the Army Black Knights. The Hilltoppers won five games in 2020 and finished with a 39-21 loss versus Georgia State in the Lending Tree Bowl. On Thursday, Western Kentucky scored 17 straight points to start the second half and pull away for a 59-21 home victory versus UT Martin.

Senior QB Bailey Zappe torched the UT Martin secondary for 424 yards passing and seven touchdowns. Jerreth Sims hauled in seven passes for 107 yards and two scores.

The Army Black Knights won nine games in a breakthrough 2020 season and finished with a 24-21 loss versus West Virginia in the Liberty Bowl. On Saturday, Army scored the first 21 points and cruised to a 43-10 road triumph against Georgia State. The Black Knights outgained the Panthers by a 356-177 margin and possessed the ball for 42 minutes.

Christian Anderson led the potent Army rushing attack with 55 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Tyrell Robinson and Braheam Murphy each caught touchdowns passes for the Black Knights.
