On Saturday, Indiana started the season in impressive fashion with a 31-7 home victory versus Florida International. The Hoosiers raced out to a 14-point lead on a nine-yard Zach Horton touchdown reception and a 13-yard TySon Lawton scamper to the end zone. 

Indiana RB Elijah Green scored a late touchdown and finished with a game-high 82 rushing yards. Ohio transfer QB Nathan Rourke contributed 180 passing yards for the Hoosiers, who outgained the Panthers by a 414-181 margin.
