The West Virginia Mountaineers will visit Amon G. Carter Stadium for a week eight match up against the TCU Horned Frogs. West Virginia comes into this game 2-4 on the year riding a three game losing streak including a 45-20 loss on the road to Baylor last game out. Defensively West Virginia struggled allowing 525 total yards as 354 came through the air. Josh Chanlder-Semedo led the way for the West Virginia defense with six tackles, while Alonzo Addae, Sean Mahone, and Jackie Matthews all chipped in with five tackles each.

Quarterback Jarret Doege led the West Virginia offense completing 20 of 31 passes for 237 yards and one touchdown. Backup Garrett Green went 4-6 through the air for 35 yards. Winston Jr. right was the primary target for the Mountaineers passing attack with 86 yards on six catches.

The TCU horned frogs returned home in week eight with a 3-3 overall record after a 52-31 loss to the #4 ranked Oklahoma Sooners. Max Duggan led the way for the TCU offense from the quarterback position completing 20 of 30 passes for 346 yards and four touchdowns, while adding 45 yards rushing on 8 carries.

Quentin Johnston had a career day from the receiver spot with the 185 yards and three touchdowns on seven catches, while Kendre Miller added four catches for 56 yards and one touchdown. Emari Demercado Led the way for the TCU ground attack with 57 yards on 7 carries.

Both teams come into this game struggling immensely but TCU is the better team and will rely on the home crowd to lead the way in week 8. TCU has the better scoring offense and deeper team and will use that to get the win at home  against a bad WVU team. Final Score Prediction, the TCU Horned Frogs win and cover 31-17.
