Washington State at Stanford 11/21/20 - College Football Picks & Predictions

Pac 12 Conference foes will square off on Saturday night, when the Washington State Cougars travel south to take on the Stanford Cardinal. The Cougars have split their first two games and rank 29th in the nation with 274 passing yards per contest. On Saturday, Washington State was outscored by 19 points during the second half of a 43-29 home loss versus Oregon. 

Freshman QB Jayden de Laura continued to impress for Washington State with 321 yards passing and two touchdowns. Renard Bell hauled in ten passes for 158 yards and a score for the Cougars.

The Stanford Cardinal are off to a disappointing 0-2 start for veteran head coach David Shaw and are allowing 35 points per game. On Saturday, Stanford rallied in the fourth quarter before falling short during a 35-32 home loss versus Colorado. The Cardinal were outgained by a 432-397 margin and trailed by as many as 19 points in the third quarter.

Stanford QB Davis Mills had a breakout performance with 327 passing yards and two touchdowns. Michael Wilson contributed six catches for 95 yards in a losing effort for the Cardinal.

Stanford leads the all-time series with a 40-29-1 record, but Washington State is riding a four-game winning streak. Last year, the Cougars disposed of the Cardinal during a 49-22 home victory.
