Washington State at Oregon State 11/7/20 - College Football Picks & Predictions

Washington State is coming to this game here looking to build off of some success last year. The Cougars ended  up with a 6-7 record overall, but when playing in the PAC12 the Cougars finished with a 3-6 mark on the year. Washington State is bringing back 6 offensive starters and a total of 7 defensive starters on the year.

Washington State is replacing their quarterback this year and the projected starter is sophomore Cammon Cooper. Cooper did not throw at all last year. The Cougars are bringing back Max Borghi to start at running back. Borghi ended up carrying the ball 127 times for 817 yards and 11 touchdowns. Defensively the Cougars allowed a total of 31.4 points a game.

Oregon State gets to kick off their season against Washington State here. The Beavers last year finished with a 5-7 record overall, but in the PAC12 the Beavers were able to post a 4-5 record for the season. Oregon State is bringing back only 3 starters for the offense, but ended up with 6 starters on defense coming back this year.

Tristian Gebbia is the projected starting quarterback for the Beavers.  Last season he threw for 347 yards and 2 touchdowns, but was picked off on the year once. The rushing offense for the Beavers will most likely be led by Jermar Jefferson who carried the ball a total of 142 times for 685 yards and 8 touchdowns. The defense for the Beavers gave up an average of 32.5 points per game last year.
