UTSA at Rice 11/19/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The UTSA Roadrunners will travel this week to Houston, TX for a game against the Rice Owls. UTSA comes into this game with eight wins in 10 games running a seven game win streak after a 44 point blowout of Louisiana Tech. Defensively Rice was obliterated as Western Kentucky scored 45 points on nearly 500 total yards of offense including 377 through the air. The Rice offense did move the ball well with more than 300 yards to score 10 points but failed to score in the first and fourth quarter and turned the ball over six times leading to the loss.

Rice used a 2 quarterback set against Western Kentucky combining to complete 19 of 29 passes for 169 yards but each quarterback threw two interceptions. Juma Otoviano led the way on the ground for Rice with 97 yards on 15 carries and Cameron Montgomery chipped in 61 yards on 11 carries as well. Kobie Campbell was the top receiver of the game was 61 yards on 7 receptions.
