The Roadrunners made the record books, but it is not because of the reason the Roadrunners were hoping for. The Roadrunners defense went down in the books as the one that allowed James Morgan of FIU to break the school record for touchdowns thrown in a single season. No matter what, this has to be a focus of the Roadrunners and that is improve the passing defense.

The overall defense for the Roadrunners are giving up 33 points a game. What is even worse is the fact the offense for the Roadrunners cannot find the end zone on the year as they are getting only 14 points a game being scored. The Thundering Herd had to wait until the third quarter before they were able to take control over the Charlotte squad. However, this was a good thing because it did give the Thundering Herd a challenge that they needed to have and prove that they are able to overcome some of the adversity the team is going to be facing.

The Thundering Herd offense has been able to score at a clip of 28.7 points a game. The defense for the Thundering Herd has done decent as they are only giving up 22 points a game on the year so far.
