The UTSA Roadrunners visit Riccardo Silva Stadium in Miami, Florida on Friday to play the FIU Panthers. UTSA improved to 4-2 overall and is 2-0 in Conference-USA play following its 31-28 victory over Western Kentucky on Saturday. Frank Harris passed for 273 yards and one touchdown for UTSA and the Roadrunners gained 486 yards of total offense. UTSA allowed 481 yards of total offense to Western Kentucky.

UTSA quarterback Frank Harris has passed for 1,724 yards with 12 touchdowns and five interceptions. Brendan Brady is the leading rusher with 386 yards and one touchdown, while the leading receiver is De’Corian Clark with 695 yards and six touchdown receptions. On defense, linebacker Jamal Ligon is the leading tackler with 46. UTSA has seven quarterback sacks and two interceptions. 

Florida International dropped to 2-3 overall and is 0-1 in the Conference-USA following a 33-12 loss to the UConn Huskies on Saturday night. FIU gained 409 yards of total offense but committed three turnovers and the Panthers gave up 402 yards of total offense to UConn. FIU quarterback Grayson James passed for 256 yards but was intercepted twice, while running back Lexington Joseph gained 103 yards with one touchdown.

FIU quarterback Grayson James has passed for 748 yards with seven touchdowns and four interceptions. The leading rusher is Lexington Joseph with 236 yards and one touchdown while the leading receiver is Tyrese Chambers with 264 yards and  three touchdown receptions. On defense, quarterback Demetrius Hill is the leading tackler with 44. FIU has eight quarterback sacks and two interceptions. 

While the OVER is a solid choice, the play here is UTSA. UTSA has a very strong offense that is scoring an average of 38.6 points per game and will be facing a FIU defense that is allowing an average of 39.5 points per game. FIU has a very poor offense that is generating only 17.8 points per game and rushes for an average of only 88.0 yards per game which will allow the UTSA defense to protect better against the pass.
