The 15th ranked North Carolina Tar Heels will go on the road when they face the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday night. The Tar Heels have won four of their first five games for second year head coach Mack Brown, with their lone blemish being a three-point loss at Florida State. On Saturday, North Carolina rushed for 326 yards during an easy 48-21 home victory versus NC State.

Javonte Williams led the charge on the ground for the Tar Heels with 160 yards rushing and three touchdowns. North Carolina QB Sam Howell threw for 252 yards and a score.

The Virginia Cavaliers were in the 2019 ACC Championship Game, but have taken a major step back with four losses in their first five games. On Saturday night, Virginia kept things interesting before falling at Miami by a 19-14 final score. The Cavaliers were outgained by a 444-366 margin and turned the ball over once in defeat.

Sophomore QB Brennan Armstrong completed 16 of his 30 passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns. Terrell Jana contributed three catches for 60 yards in a losing effort for the Cavaliers.

North Carolina owns a 64-57-4 all-time record in this series, but Virginia has won the previous three games by 23 total points.
