Last Updated: 11/26/2021 at 11:30 AM ET

Aggie Memorial Stadium will host one of the worst matchups of the weekend when the UMass Minutemen visit the New Mexico State Aggies. UMass has been atrocious all season coming into the final week of the season 1-10 on the year writing a five game losing streak following a 16 point loss against Army. defensively UMass was obliterated by the Black Knights giving up 419 total yards is 377 came on the ground.

For the season UMass is only averaged 15.4 points per game on 290.1 yards from the offense. Defensively they have been even worse allowing 472.4 yards as 238.3 come on the ground as the defense allows 43 points per game.

The New Mexico State Aggies return home for the final game of the season 1-10 on the year riding a seven game losing streak following a 56 point loss two weeks ago and a 40 point loss last week to the Kentucky Wildcats. Defensively New Mexico State had no chance against Kentucky as the Wildcats racked up 56 points on 707 total yards of offense.

Quarterback Jonah Johnson struggled immensely against Kentucky completing only 16 of 35 passes for 181 yards and no touchdowns. New Mexico State tried to run the ball against Kentucky compiling 101 yards on 26 carries as a team. Juwaun Price showed the only signs of life for New Mexico State with 51 yards on 11 carries.

This will be one of the worst matchups of the weekend and the entire season. Neither team has a strong offense and will struggle for the full 60 minutes to move the ball and produce any points. The total of this game is far too high as these are two of the worst offensive teams in the nation and will fail to score anything close to the total. Final Score Prediction, New Mexico State wins but the play here is the under 21-13.
