The Minutemen may have some confidence coming into this game after picking up their first win of the year over Akron. The problem the Minutemen may have, though, is the fact that the offense had to face an opponent that was not winning either to get going on the year.

Florida International is coming off of a loss in this game. However, the Panthers have been able to pick up a win on the season as well. The Panthers are a team that needs to figure out how to play as a team as they have had a lot of the same struggles as the Minutemen. The big difference is the Panthers defense has managed to play some great ball on the year and kept the team in striking distance.

James Morgan has been able to throw the ball for 627 yards and 3 touchdowns, but has thrown a couple of picks on the year as well. Kaylan Wiggins is the leading rusher for the Panthers with 31 carries for 215 yards and 2 touchdowns on the year.
