UMass at Eastern Michigan 10/1/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The UMass Minutemen continue a road trip this week as they travel to Ypsilanti, MI to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles. UMass has struggled this season with only one win in four games played following a 28 point blowout loss to Temple. The Eastern Michigan Eagles continue their homestand this week 2-2 on the year following a 19 point loss to Buffalo. Defensively Eastern Michigan was obliterated as Buffalo totaled nearly 500 yards of offense including 297 through the air to score 50 points in the game.

Offensively the Eagles moved the ball well totaling 327 yards of offense but turned the ball over one time in the loss. Austin Smith played well under center for Eastern Michigan completing 12 of 19 passes for 190 yards and one score, while running the ball 12 times for 74 yards and one touchdown as well. Tanner Knue led all receivers for Eastern Michigan with 106 yards and one touchdown on three catches.
