The UConn Huskies are terrible having started the year 0-2 following a 49-0 blowout loss to the Purdue Boilermakers. The UConn Running game was not much better combining as a team for 124 yards and no touchdowns on 34 total carries.
Defensively the Huskies were atrocious allowing 562 total yards with 375 yards and six touchdowns coming from the Purdue passing game. Linebacker Jackson Mitchell led the way for the UConn defense with 14 tackles on the day.
The Army Black Knights come into week three of the college football season with a perfect 2-0 record after a narrow 38-35 win over Western Kentucky. Army Relied on one of the best ground attacks in the nation with 339 yards and four touchdowns on 67 total carries.
Christian Andersen was the offensive leader four Army against Western Kentucky completing five out of six passes for 77 yards and one touchdown, while rushing for a team high 119 yards on 22 carries. Tyrell Robinson chipped into the Army offense with 81 yards and one touchdown on 7 carries, while Jakobi Robinson added 61 yards and two scores on 18 touches.
