UConn at Army 11/19/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The UConn Huskies travel on the road this week to West Point, NY to take on the Army Black Knights. UConn comes into their 12th game of the season with six wins after winning four of the last five games played including a 3 point win against Liberty on Saturday. Defensively Uconn faltered a bit as Liberty gained 474 total yards including 67 through the air but the Huskies forced two turnovers and outscored the Flames by nine in the fourth quarter to get the win.

Offensively UConn moved the ball well compiling 318 total yards to score 36 points in the game after a 15 point fourth quarter. Quarterback Zion Turner led the way for the Huskies offense completing 15 of 21 passes for 103 yards and one score and ran the ball five times for 23 yards as well. Robert Burns led all ball carriers for UConn with 104 yards and one score on 11 carries, while victor Rosa and his 62 yards and two scores on 10 touches as well.

The Army Black Knights return home this week three games below .500 riding a 2 game skid after a one point road loss to Troy. Offensively Army moved the ball well with nearly 360 total yards as 275 came on the ground but two turnovers and only five third down conversions led to the one point loss. 

Tyhier Taylor led the way for the Army offense completing two of five passes for 52 yards, while running the ball 27 times for 100 yards and one score as well. Tyson Riley chipped in a team second best 64 yards on 19 carries and Joshua Lingenfelter led the team with 36 yards on one reception.
