UCLA at Arizona State 12/5/20 - NCAA Football Picks & Predictions

The UCLA Bruins visit Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona on Saturday for a Pac-12 showdown with the Arizona State Sun Devils. UCLA improved to 2-2 following its 27-10 victory over Arizona on Saturday. The Bruins were led by quarterback Chase Griffin who passed for 129 yards and one touchdown and running back Demetric Felton who rushed for 206 yards and  one touchdown. The Bruins gained 410 yards of total offense and held Arizona to 300 yards of total offense and forced two Wildcats turnovers.

Chase Griffin has passed for 326 yards with two touchdowns, two interceptions and has been sacked twice. The leading rusher for UCLA is Demetric Felton with 537 yards and four touchdowns and the leading receiver is Greg Dulcich with 284 yards and two touchdown receptions. On defense, defensive back Stephen Blaylock is the leader in tackles with 29 and linebacker Caleb Johnson is the leader in quarterback sacks with 3.0

Arizona State is 1-0 and has had each of its last two games cancelled due to positive covid 19 tests. The Sun Devils have not played since  November 7, when losing to the USC Trojans 28-27. In that loss, Arizona State gained 392 yards of total offense but gave up 556 yards of total offense to USC. In addition Arizona State turned the ball over three times that led to a 14-point rally by USC in the fourth quarter to defeat the Sun Devils.

Through one game, quarterback Jayden Daniels has passed for 134 yards with one touchdown and has been sacked once. Daniels is the leading rusher for Arizona State with 111 yards, while Deamonte Trayanum has rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns. The leading receiver for the Sun Devils is Rachaad White with 70 yards and one touchdown reception. On defense, defensive back Evan Fields is the leader in tackles with 17 and defensive lineman Jermayne Lole is the leader in quarterback sacks with 1.5.

UCLA is coming off a 27-10 victory over Arizona. The Bruins have covered the number in 12 of the last 17 head-to-head against Arizona State. When the Sun Devils kick off on Sunday it will be their first game in one month after having two games cancelled.
