UCF vs LSU 1/1/19 - Fiesta Bowl - NCAAF Picks & Predictions

Last Updated: 08/21/2019 at 10:26 AM ET

UCF may be out to make a statement when it plays LSU in the Fiesta Bowl. They were unbeaten and won their conference championship, but were left out of the playoff. The No. 8 UCF Knights have not lost a game in more than two years. Their 25 game winning streak leads the NCAA. No. 12 LSU will be a solid test, but don't expect the Knights to be intimidated. UCF has knocked off power - 5 schools in bowl games at the end of the last two seasons. No. 7 Auburn was last year's victim.

The Knights did lose their starting quarterback two weeks ago, but Dariell Mack got past some early struggles and led the Knights to a win in the American Athletic Conference championship game. Mack passed for 348 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 59 yards and four more touchdowns.
Greg McCrae leads the Knights in rushing with 1101 yards and nine touchdowns. He is averaging nine yards per carry. Adrian Killins has run for 698 yards. UCF is averaging 44.2 points and giving up 21 per game. UCF averages 268 yards passing and 276 rushing.

LSU is led by Joe Burrow with 2500 yards passing, 12 touchdowns and four interceptions. Nick Brossette has run for 922 yards and 14 touchdowns. Clyde Edwards-Helaire has run for 626 and seven touchdowns. Burrow has run for 375 yards and seven scores.

LSU is averaging 31.8 points and holding teams to 20.9. The Tigers average 214 yards passing and 174 rushing. LSU is holding teams to 139 yards rushing per game.

Just can't see what motivation the big bad SEC LSU Tigers have while this UCF team is super motivated again this year. Love UCF to win in upset but would suggest grabbing the points just in case. Final Score Prediction, UCF Knights win in upset but grab the points just in case 37-30.
