UCF at North Carolina 9/15/18 - NCAA Football Picks & Predictions

On Saturday, the Central Florida Knights (2-0) visit Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina to play the North Carolina Tar Heels (0-2).

UCF defeated South Carolina State on Saturday 38-0 for its second straight win to open the season. The Knights were led by Adrian Killins Jr., who rushed for 89 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The win was UCF’s 15th straight overall. Greg McCrae added 62 yards on the ground with one touchdown, while Otis Anderson chipped in with 42 yards and one touchdown. The Knights rushed for 315 yards in the win.

North Carolina lost its second straight falling to the East Carolina Pirates 41-19 on the road in Greenville. The Tar Heels continue to struggle on offense and commit too many penalties as they did in the season opening loss to Cal. Jordan Brown rushed for the Tar Heels only touchdown, while kicker Freeman Jones booted four field goals. The Tar Heels were held scoreless in the second half after trailing 21-19 at the intermission. Quarterback McKenzie Milton has completed 45 of 71 passes for 589 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions. Adrian Killins Jr. is the leading rusher with 127 yards and three touchdowns. Darriel Mack Jr. has 111 yards rushing and one touchdown. Tre Nixon has 154 yards receiving and two touchdowns while Gabriel Davis is close behind with 151 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

North Carolina quarterback Nathan Elliott has completed 37 of his 73 passes for 356 yards, 1 touchdown and 4 interceptions. Antonio Williams leads the Tar Heels with 143 yards rushing and one touchdown, while Jordan Brown has 94 yards on the ground and one touchdown. Anthony Ratiff-Williams leads the Tar Heels in receiving with 146 yards and one touchdown.

North Carolina has struggled on offense in two straight losses, while committing too many penalties on both sides of the ball. On the other hand, UCF is averaging 306 yards rushing through two games and 47 points per game. The Knights offense will be too much for the Tar Heels to keep up with and expect UCF to run away with this game early. Final Score Prediction, UCF Knights win and cover ATS 35-14
