UCF vs Cincinnati Picks and Prediction – 11/4/2023

The UCF Knights will be on the road this week in Cincinnati, OH for a conference matchup against the Cincinnati Bearcats. For other College Football Previews see our College Football Picks. UCF comes into their ninth game of the season 3-5 overall on a 5 game skid following the 13 point loss against West Virginia in their last game. Defensively UCF started the season fantastically holding opponents to just 12 points per game through the first three games but have allowed 40.6 points per game over the last five resulting in the losing streak. 

Offensively UCF did move the ball extremely well scoring 28 points on 463 yards but turned the ball over four times resulting in the loss. Defensively the Knights had a ton of issues giving up 450 yards and 41 points after West Virginia scored 17 points in the fourth quarter. John Rhys Plumlee struggled for UCF completing 25 passes for 274 yards and three scores but through three interceptions as well. RJ Harvey led the way on the ground for the night with 100 yards on 14 carries and Kobe Hudson added 66 yards and two scores on three receptions.

The Cincinnati Bearcats return home this week with two wins in their first eight games played following a 32 point loss to Oklahoma State extending their losing streak to six straight games. Emory Jones has led the way for Cincinnati this season was 1601 yards and 13 scores on 139 completions. Cory Kiner leads all Cincinnati ball carriers with 642 yards and two touchdowns on 119 carries. Quarterback Emory Jones has added 441 yards and three scores, while Myles Montgomery has chipped in 357 yards and three touchdowns on 51 carries.

Emory Jones struggled immensely for Cincinnati in their last game completing just six passes for 117 yards. Brady Lichtenberg completed five passes for 48 yards and one score. Myles Montgomery was the biggest spark in the offense with 90 yards and one touchdown on 8 carries. Aaron Turner added 21 yards and one score on one reception in the game.
