UCF at Cincinnati 10/16/21 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The UCF Knights visit Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday to play the No. 3 ranked Cincinnati Bearcats. UCF improved to 3-2 following a 20-16 victory over East Carolina on Saturday. Mark-Antony Richards scored the winning touchdown with just 23 seconds remaining on a 1-yard rush. Quarterback Mikey Keene passed for 194 yards with one interception while running back Johnny Richardson rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown.

Quarterback Mikey Keene has passed for 621 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. The leading rusher is Johnny Richardson with 401 yards and two touchdowns, while the leading receiver is Ryan O'Keefe with 385 yards and one touchdown reception. On defense, linebacker Bryson Armstrong is the leading tackler with 52 and lineman Josh Celiscar is the leader in quarterback sacks with 3.5. Four different players for UCF each have one interception.

Cincinnati improved to 5-0 overall and 1-0 in the American Athletic Conference following a 52-3 rout of the Temple Owls on Friday. Quarterback Desmond Ridder passed for 259 yards with three touchdowns and running back Jerome Ford rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns. The Cincinnati defense held Temple to just 235 yards of offense and forced three Owls turnovers. 

Quarterback Desmond Ridder has passed for 1,304 yards with 12 touchdowns and two interceptions. The Bearcats signal-caller has been sacked eight times. Jerome Ford is the leading rusher with 520 yards and eight touchdowns while the leading receiver is Alec Pierce with 387 yards and two touchdown receptions. On defense, linebacker Deshawn Pace is the leading tackler with 40 and linebacker Darrian Beavers is the leader in quarterback sacks with 3.0. Three players for Cincinnati have two interceptions apiece.

Cincinnati is the real deal this season. The Bearcats are 5-0 straight up and 4-1 ATS to the start the season and are allowing an average of only 12.2 points per game while scoring an average of 41.0 points per game. UCF struggled to beat East Carolina on Saturday night and continues to play with backup quarterback Mikey Keene who has passed for only three touchdowns and three interceptions and will be facing the swarming, blitzing Bearcats defense.
