UAB at Louisiana Tech 11/26/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The UAB Blazers will be on the road this week in Ruston, LA for their 12th game of the season against Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. UAB comes into this game one game below .500 on the year after losing four of the last five games including a 31 point loss to LSU last week. Defensively UAB was no match for LSU the Tigers accumulated 565 total yards of offense to score 41 points after 28 came in the first half. Offensively UAB did move the ball well compiling 259 total yards scored ten points but scored nothing in the second half leading to the loss.

The Blazers used two different quarterbacks as Dylan Hopkins led the way completing 14 of 29 passes for 158 yards in the game. DeWayne McBride led the way on the ground for the Blazers with 34 yards and one score on 13 carries, while Bryce Damos posted a team high 56 yards on three receptions as well.

The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs return home this week struggling through the season with only three wins after losing four of the last five including two in a row after a 5 point loss to Charlotte. Defensively Louisiana Tech could not stop Charlotte as the 49ers totaled more than 400 yards to score 26 points in the game. Offensively Louisiana Tech played well with 350 yards and scored 21 points but turned the ball over twice in the loss.

Landry Lyddy completed 23 of 31 passes for 213 yards to lead the Louisiana Tech offense. Marquis Crosby led all ball carriers in the game with 105 yards and three scores on 21 carries, while Cyrus Allen posted a team high 82 yards on three receptions as well.
