Two Team College Football Parlay - Saturday 10/17/20

Last Updated: 10/15/2020 at 10:16 AM ET

A Southeastern Conference showdown between the No. 11 ranked Texas A&M Aggies and the Mississippi State Bulldogs as well as an Atlantic Coast Conference showdown between No. 5 ranked North Carolina Tar Heels and the Florida State Seminoles make up our Two-Team College Football parlay for this week.

Texas A&M Aggies at Mississippi State Bulldogs: TAM -6.5; Total 54.5

Texas A&M defeated the Florida Gators 41-38 behind excellent play from quarterback Kellen Mond, who threw for three touchdowns and 338 yards. Mond is now the all-time leading passer for Texas A&M with 8,244 yards. However, it is the defense that must come up big for the Aggies against Mississippi State’s up-tempo offense. Texas A&M will have to look out for running back Kylin Hill, not because of his strength rushing the ball, but for Hill’s receiving skills as the running back had 15 receptions last time out. Mississippi State quarterback KJ Costello, who transferred from Stanford, has started off poorly with nine interceptions and committed four of Mississippi State's six turnovers in their loss to Kentucky last week where the only points scored by the Bulldogs were on a safety. Texas A&M will shut down any semblance of an offense from Mississippi State and win big. Lay the points and take the road chalk.

1st Part of College Football Parlay: Texas A&M Aggies -6.5

North Carolina Tar Heels at Florida State Seminoles: UNC -13.5; Total 64

North Carolina has one of the best quarterbacks in the nation in Sam Howell and an offense that has been scoring plenty of points. North Carolina is  scoring an average 37.0 points per game and only allowing an average 24.3. Sam Howell has passed for 777 yards in six touchdowns. At the same time, the running game for North Carolina has come up big of late as Michael Carter rushed for 214 yards last week against Virginia Tech and Javonte Williams added 169 yards on the ground. Both Carter and Williams scored two touchdowns versus VT and the Tar Heels accumulated 656 yards against the Hokies. Florida State will have a sophomore quarterback Jordan Travis under center to start against the Tar Heels. Travis passed for 204 yards and rushed for 96 against Notre Dame and has excellent playmaking ability making him a true, dual-threat signal caller. North Carolina will defeat Florida State, but FSU will keep it close on its home field in Tallahassee and cover the double-digit spread. Take the points and the home dog to cover.

2nd Part of College Football Parlay: Florida State Seminoles +13.5
