The Tulsa Golden Hurricane are set to visit Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas, Texas for an AAC clash against the SMU Mustangs. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane come into this matchup with a 2-2 record, and they will be looking to continue their success after winning their recent home game against the Wyoming Cowboys, 24-21. QB Zach Smith had a big game through the air for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane as he threw for 354 yards and 2 TD. Senior WR Keenen Johnson was the top target for Smith and the Golden Hurricane as he hauled in 7 catches for 95 yards.

The Mustangs have been very good due to their dangerous offense as Texas transfer Shane Buechele has thrown for 1385 yards and 10 TDs while RB Xavier Jones has compiled 10 rushing TDs this season. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane struggled against an explosive offense a few weeks ago as Oklahoma State put up 40 points and 506 yards of offense, and SMU should be able to translate similar success. The Golden Hurricane will try to do a majority of their damage through the air with transfer QB Zach Smith, but the secondary is the strength for the Mustangs.
