Tulsa at Navy 12/5/20 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The No. 25 ranked Tulsa Golden Hurricane visit Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and Annapolis, Maryland on Saturday for an American Athletic Conference showdown. Tulsa is 5-1 overall following its 30-24 victory over Tulane on November 19 and the Golden Hurricane had their matchup against Houston on Saturday postponed. In the victory over Tulane, Tulsa quarterback Davis Brin passed for 266 yards and two touchdowns.

Davis Brin has passed for 268 yards with two touchdowns and has been sacked twice in place of the injured Zach Smith. The leading rusher for Tulsa is Deneric Prince with 356 yards and two touchdowns while Keylon Stokes is the leading receiver with 446 yards and two touchdown receptions. On defense, linebacker Zaven Collins is the leading tackler with 49 and is also the leader in quarterback sacks with 4.0.

Navy dropped to 3-5 following its 10-7 loss to the Memphis Tigers on Saturday night. In a defensive struggle, Navy gained 321 yards of total offense and turned the ball over twice, while the Midshipmen allowed Memphis just 280 yards of total offense and forced one Memphis turnover. Both teams scored a touchdown in the first quarter and no other points were scored until Memphis kicker Riley Patterson kicked a 26 yard field goal width 10:53 to play to beat Navy

Tyger Goslin has passed for 333 yards with three touchdowns, one interception and has been sacked three times. Nelson Smith is the leading rusher for Navy with 589 yards and eight touchdowns while Mychal Cooper is the leading receiver with 199 yards and two touchdown receptions. On defense, linebacker Diego Fagot is the leader in tackles with 61 and has a team-high 4.0 quarterback sacks. 

Navy is coming off a very poor offensive outing in a 10-7 loss to Memphis as the Midshipmen were able to gain just 321 yards of total offense. Tulsa on the other hand is coming off a 30-24 victory over Tulane on November 19 and had its most recent meeting with Houston postponed. The Golden Hurricane has covered the number in five of the last six while Navy has had trouble of late, covering the nut in just four of the last seven.
