Troy at Western Kentucky 10/1/22 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Troy Trojans go back on the road in week five to Bowling Green, KY to take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Troy comes into week 5 with a 2-2 record following a nine point win over Marshall on Saturday. Defensively Troy dominated the game holding Marshall to only 174 yards and seven points after forcing one turnover in the game.

Gunner Watson drove the Troy offense completing 15 of 25 passes for 321 yards. DK Billingsley led the way with 85 yards on 14 carries and Tez Johnson chipped in 121 yards on two receptions. Jabre Barber added 101 yards on four catches as well.

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers continue a homestand in week five following a 73 point blowout of Florida International. Offensively the Hilltoppers dominated with nearly 700 yards of offense to score 73 points in the game including 42 in the first half. Defensively Western Kentucky controlled the game as well holding FIU to only 180 yards and no points

Western Kentucky used three different quarterbacks as Austin Reed led the way completing 29 of 35 passes for 381 yards and five touchdowns. Malachi Corley led all Western Kentucky receivers with 125 yards and two touchdowns on three catches. Daewood Davis added 85 yards and one score on eight catches as well.
