Top College Football Offensive Tackle Recruits - NCAAF Odds, Picks & Betting Predictions

Offensive lineman at any level whether it be high school, college or the NFL do not receive many accolades as they play in the trenches and are overlooked as the skill-position players receive all the attention. However, skill position players such as quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers would not receive the attention if it were not for the hard work the offensive lineman put in, on each and every play. Here's a quick list of the top five offensive lineman recruits headed to college football in the fall of 2020.

Broderick Jones is 6-foot-5 and 298 pounds. Jones played high school football in Lithonia, Georgia and possesses very good upper body strength and has developed a lower body making him one of the best overall offensive lineman. Jones is able to move well side to side and is quick-footed for his size while the only drawback to this talented lineman is the amount of time he has played the position. Jones is expected to be a starter from his freshman year forward and has committed to play for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Tate Ratledge is 6-foot-6 and 322 pounds. Ratledge played high school football in Rome, Georgia and was timed in the 40-yard dash at 5.30.  Ratledge possesses the prototype body of a left tackle and has the added advantage of athleticism as he played tight end early in his high school career. Like many of the top tackles in the nation Ratledge has very good balance, quickness and excellent footwork and has also committed to play for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Turner Corcoran is 6-foot-6 and 280 pounds. Corcoran played high school football in Lawrence, Kansas. Corcoran was a first-team all-state selection in his senior year and because of his solid run blocking skills his high school team averaged 6.7 yards per carry. Corcoran does not have the weight that many offensive lineman possess, but that will change after going through the conditioning and weight training system as a member of the Nebraska Cornhuskers where he has decided to play his college football.

Walker Parks is 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds. Parks played his high school football In Lexington, Kentucky, has been timed at 4.92 in the 40-yard dash and possesses a vertical leap of 31.3 inches. Parks has developed into one of the top five offensive lineman in the nation, is able to get off the ball very well, maintain running blocks very well and has become a solid pass protector as well. Parks is expected to be a multi-year starter at Clemson where he has committed to play.

Sedrick Van Pran is 6-foot-4 and 305 pounds. Van Pran played high school football in New Orleans, Louisiana and is considered one of the better big-bodied offensive lineman prospects in the nation.  Van Pran has excellent drive blocking strength when locking up against opposing defenders but must work on not getting too far out over his own feet and becoming off balance. Van Pran has committed to playing college football for the Georgia Bulldogs.
