Top 10 College Football Power Rankings – Week 13

College football had a great week when it came to the games played. However, their was a large number of games that ended up being postponed due to coronavirus concerns for one team or the opposing team. So now it is time to start on the top 10 college football power rankings.

  1. Alabama (7-0) -  The Tide remained unbeaten and regained the top spot after thumping the Kentucky Wildcats in the last game. The blowout win for Alabama was a great one which showed the team picking up the win by 60 points.
  2. Notre Dame (8-0) – The Irish had the week off, but still did not drop as the teams right under them struggled and in some cases barely scraped by with a win.
  3. Ohio State (4-0) –The Buckeyes had to face the Indiana team and Indiana proved that they are the real deal team.  The Buckeyes, though, did get the win and looked good in how they were able to pick up the win.
  4. Clemson (7-1) – Clemson ended up getting their game against Florida State cancelled this week. Now, the Tigers will have to look to improve on the year and prove that the loss was a fluke in the game against Notre Dame.
  5. Cincinnati (8-0) – Give the Bearcats some credit, they have went from a no name team to one that cracks the top 5 this week. The Bearcats have a good balance offensively, but a smothering defense that will keep the opponents in check.
  6. BYU (9-0) -  The last game for BYU ended up being a 52 point rout. The game was against North Alabama, but it was definitely a game that the Cougars enjoyed playing in and were able to get a good rotation for the players.
  7. Northwestern (5-0) – The Wildcats were able to pick up a win in their last game. The game was a Big Ten challenge and ended up being against the Wisconsin Badgers for a final score of 17-7.
  8. Coastal Carolina (8-0) – Coastal Carolina ended up taking down the Appalachian State team by a 34-23 score. That allowed the Chanticleers to look very impressive and fully balanced.
  9. Indiana (4-1) – The Hoosiers did lose this past week, but it was against Ohio State. The loss was not that bad for the Hoosiers and it helped to showcase the talent that the Indiana team has brought to the field lately.
  10. Florida (6-1) – Florida ended up picking up a nice big win in their last game over Vanderbilt. The win ended up being by 21 points, but the spread was a 31.5 point mark.
