Texas State at South Alabama 10/17/20 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Texas State Bobcats visit Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama on Saturday to play the South Alabama Jaguars. Texas State dropped to 1-4 following its 37-17 loss to the Troy Trojans on Saturday. The Jaguars had their game against the Troy Trojans postponed last Saturday due to issues with covid19. In the loss to UAB, South Alabama quarterback Chance Lovertich passed for 168 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The Jaguars trailed 28-10 at the half and were held scoreless after the break.

Chance Lovertich has passed for 479 yards with four touchdowns, one interception and has been sacked seven times. The leading rusher for South Alabama is Carlos Davis with 272 yards and one touchdown, while Jalen Tolbert is the leading receiver with 327 yards and three touchdowns. On defense, linebacker Nick Mobley has a team-high 33 tackles, while safety Keith Gallmon has  26.
