The No. 15 ranked Texas Longhorns visit Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday for a Big 12 showdown with the TCU Horned Frogs. The Longhorns outlasted the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday 50-48. Cameron Dicker booted a 33-yard field goal as the clock hit 0:00 to give the Longhorns the win over the upset-minded Jayhawks. Texas is tied for third in the Big 12 at 3-1, behind 4-0 Baylor and Oklahoma.
TCU fell to 3-3 on overall and 1-2 in the Big 12 following a 24-17 loss to Kansas State. The Horned Frogs gave up a late touchdown drive by the Wildcats that scored the winning points. TCU could not stop K-State on the final drive that ate up over five minutes of the clock. On the next series TCU was able to drive to K-State’s 37 but failed on fourth down. Max Duggan had 115 yards rushing and one touchdown and passed for 132 yards in the loss.
Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger has thrown for 2,057 yards, 21 touchdowns and three interceptions. The leading rusher for the Longhorns is Keaontay Ingram with 423 yards and four touchdowns. The leading receiver is Devin Dunvernay with 627 yards and six touchdowns. Joseph Ossai is the leading tackler for the Longhorns with 45.
Max Duggan leads TCU in passing with 874 yards and nine touchdowns. Darius Anderson is the leading rusher for the Horned Frogs with 588 yards and six touchdowns. Jalen Reagor is the leading receiver with 271 yards and three touchdowns. Garrett Wallow is far and away the leading tackler for TCU with 63.
