In an SEC showdown on Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi, the No. 21 ranked Texas A&M Aggies visit the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Texas A&M improved to 2-1 following its 41-38 victory over Florida on Saturday. Texas A&M rallied to score 17 points in the fourth quarter to beat the No. 4 ranked Gators. Kellen Mond passed for 338 yards and three touchdowns while Isaiah Spiller rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns and Caleb Chapman had 151 yards receiving and two touchdowns for the Aggies.

Kellen Mond has passed for 845 yards with seven touchdowns, one interception and has been sacked twice. The leading rusher for Texas A&M is Isaiah Spiller with 316 yards and two touchdowns, while the leading receiver is Clifford Chapman with 197 yards and three touchdown receptions. On defense, linebacker Buddy Johnson is leading the Aggies in tackles with 19.

Mississippi State fell to 1-2 following its second consecutive loss after a 24-2 setback to the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday. A safety by Mississippi State in the third quarter was the only points the Bulldogs were able to score. Mississippi State outgained Kentucky in the loss 296 to 157, but the Bulldogs turned the ball over six times including four interceptions by quarterback KJ Costello.

Quarterback KJ Costello has passed for 1,168 yards with six touchdowns, nine interceptions and has been sacked eight times. The leading rusher for the Bulldogs is Jo’quavious Marks with 64 yards and Kylin Hill has 58 yards. Osirus Mitchell is the leading receiver for Mississippi State with 247 yards and two touchdown receptions while Hill has 237 yards receiving and one touchdown. On defense, linebacker Erroll Thompson has a team-high 28 tackles.

Texas A&M by far has the more talented team on both sides of the ball and it appears as though Mississippi State's new head coach Mike Leach has problems with players and that will play against the Bulldogs on Saturday. Texas A&M has won 14 of its last 20 straight up and is coming off a big victory at home over the Florida Gators as the Aggies proved they could rally from a deficit and defeat a No. 4 ranked opponent. Final Score Prediction, Texas A&M Aggies win and cover ATS 41-10.
