SEC Conference powers will collide on Saturday night, when the Texas A&M Aggies invade Bryant-Denny Stadium to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Aggies (3-2) have been dominating on the recruiting trail and possess a defense that is allowing just 17.8 points per game. On Saturday, Texas A&M failed to score in the first half and turned the ball over four times during a 42-24 road loss against Mississippi State.

Texas A&M WR Moose Muhammad III caught six passes for 119 yards and an 18-yard score. RB Devon Achane added 111 rushing yards on 16 carries in a losing effort for the Aggies.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are averaging 48.4 points per game and have leapfrogged Georgia for the number one spot in the AP Poll. Last week, Alabama outscored Arkansas by 18 points in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 49-26 road triumph. The Crimson Tide (5-0) rolled up 555 yards of total offense and averaged 7.5 yards per rush.

Georgia Tech transfer RB Jahmyr Gibbs carried 18 times for 206 yards and two long touchdown runs. Kobe Prentice caught three passes for 92 yards and found the end zone on a 47-yard pass for the Crimson Tide. 

Alabama had won eight straight in this series, before Texas A&M broke through last year with a 41-38 home victory. Alabama QB Bryce Young (shoulder) left Saturday’s victory and the injury is not considered to be serious. Take the over.
