The Volunteers are seeming to have an off year and are definitely not the powerhouse the team used to be. Tennessee is coming in with a 5-5 record on the year and have ended up getting a 3-3 record in the conference this year. The last game the Volunteers played in was a win over the Kentucky Wildcats, but the game was not nearly as close as what people would have expected 17-13.

This season the Volunteers have ended up getting a total of 23.9 points per game on the year. The Volunteers have thrown the ball for 211 yards a game and ran the ball for 133 yards a game. When playing defense the Vols have allowed only 23 points a game on the year and have allowed 195 yards a game in the air and 154 yards a game on the ground.

Missouri is heading into the game here after losing their last 2 games the Tigers have played in. Granted, those were games against Georgia and Florida. The last one was against Florida with a final score that sat at 23-6. The losses dropped the Tigers record to 5-5 on the year with a 2-4 record in the conference.

On the offensive side of the ball the Tigers have scored a total of 26 points a game. The passing for Missouri is hitting 231 yards a game with 158 yards a game rushing. The defense for the Tigers have allowed only 19.5 points a game on the year while giving up 166 yards a game in the air and 132 yards a game on the ground.

The Tigers and the Volunteers do look fairly evenly matched up in this game here. However, the Tigers are playing better on the defensive side of the ball and that will keep the Tigers in this game and the Tigers offense is able to pull out enough points to bring home a win. Final Score Prediction, Missouri Tigers win and cover ATS 24-17.
