The marquee matchup of the week ten college football schedule will take place on Saturday, when the Tennessee Volunteers visit the Georgia Bulldogs. The third-ranked Volunteers (8-0) lead the nation in scoring offense (49.4 ppg) and already have a win against Alabama on their resume. Last week, Tennessee scored 20 unanswered points during the second quarter and forced three turnovers on their way to an easy 44-6 home victory.
Heisman Trophy candidate Hendon Hooker completed 19 of 25 passes for 245 yards and three touchdowns. WR Jalin Hyatt shredded the Kentucky secondary for 138 receiving yards and two scores for the Volunteers, who limited the Wildcats to 205 total yards.
The defending National Champion Georgia Bulldogs rank second nationally in scoring defense (10.5 ppg) and have scored 30 plus points seven times. On Saturday, Georgia raced out to a 14-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 42-20 victory versus Florida. The top-ranked Bulldogs (8-0) rolled up 555 yards of total offense and won despite committing three turnovers.
RB Daijuan Edwards led the Georgia rushing attack with 106 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns. TE Brock Bowers caught five passes for 154 yards and a highlight reel 73-yard touchdown reception from Stetson Bennett.
