The Volunteers have done something that they have not done that often this year. That is winning a game. The Volunteers ended up getting the win in their last game over Mississippi State in the last outing and it was a very impressive win for the team. Granted, the part of the team that really stepped up in the game was the defense that only allowed 10 points in the game.
Jarrett Guarantano is the quarterback the Vols have relied on this year. He has thrown the ball for 750 yards and 7 touchdowns on the year. The leading rusher for the Vols has been Ty Chandler who has carried the ball 59 times for 320 yards and a couple of touchdowns on the year.
The Crimson Tide is a team that was able to come into the game against Texas A&M and really take control in the game. Granted, it was not a big blowout like the Crimson Tide would have expected to get, but it was a win. Alabama ended up blowing up the Aggies defense which on the year when they came into the game only allowed 17 points a game.
Tua Tagovailoa is the quarterback the Crimson Tide have relied on to guide the team. He has ended up getting a total of 1718 yards and 23 touchdowns on the season. Najee Harris has carried the ball 54 times for 337 yards and a touchdown on the year.
