TCU vs Utah Picks and Prediction – 10/20/2024

 The TCU Horned Frogs go back on the road this week with the game in Salt Lake City against the utah Utes. TCU has split their first game of the defensively TCU was outmatched giving up thirty points including 24 in the first half on 361 total yards. Josh Hoover struggled under center for TCU completing just 23 of 37 passes for 233 yards and two scores. Cam Cook goes to the team high 77 yards on 14 carries. Jeremy Payne ran the ball three times for three yards and one touchdown. JP Richardson was the top receiver on the roster with 98 yards on 9 receptions. Jack Bech compiled 4 catches for 55 yards and one score, while Savion Williams added four catches for 40 yards and one touchdown.

The Utah Utes return home this week with four wins in six games played riding a 2 game skid following an 8 point loss against Arizona State a week ago. Offensively Utah compiled 349 yards and scored 19 points but turned the ball over three times and the loss. Defensively Utah was outmatched giving up 27 points on 343 total yards of offense including fourteen points in the second half.

Cam Rising was terrible in his return to the field completing just 16 of 37 passes for 209 yards and threw 3 picks in the game.  Micah Bernard was the only bright spot for the Utah offense with 129 yards and one score on 21 carries. Dorian Singer chipped in 75 yards on 4 receptions to lead the team. Micah Bernard also added 61 yards on five receptions in the game.

The Utes have struggles over the last few weeks but will bounce back in a big way this week. Take Utah to do the work on both sides of the ball to end their skid.
