ACC Conference foes will collide on Saturday afternoon, when the Syracuse Orange visit Heinz Field to take on the Pittsburgh Panthers. Last week, Syracuse was outscored by 21 points during the fourth quarter of a 31-6 road loss against North Carolina. The Orange were outgained by a 463-202 margin and committed eight penalties for 60 yards.

Syracuse QB Tommy DeVito threw for 112 yards on 31 attempts and finished with an ugly 23.8 QBR. Taj Harris contributed five receptions for 64 yards in a losing effort for the Orange.

The 25th ranked Pittsburgh Panthers split their eight ACC Conference games a season ago and have the potential to make some noise for sixth-year head coach Pat Narduzzi. On Saturday, Pittsburgh built a 42-point halftime lead and cruised to a 55-0 home victory versus Austin Peay. The Panthers’ defense allowed just 139 total yards and forced three turnovers on the afternoon.

Senior QB Kenny Pickett completed 14 of his 20 passes for 277 yards and a touchdown. Vincent Davis carried 11 times for 43 yards and two scores for the Panthers.
