The Orange are not coming back with the same quarterback from last year, but have Tommy DeVito starting the year off at the position as a sophomore. Now, that is not the only change for the Orange as they have 1 new wideout, but also the left side of the line and enter is new as well. One thing that is important to note is DeVito is coming into this game as a 4 star prospect and that definitely lends credit to the fact that he could guide the offense easily.

As good as the offense is for the Orange, it has to continue to play that good as the defense for the Orange is not that good. The Orange defense was ranked 87th last year and that is not the worst of it. The scoring defense was ranked 64th and in the games when the offense was somewhat contained the Orange were completely dismantled, like the Notre Dame game.

The Flames were able to shock a lot of teams last year and came out looking really good to finish at 6-6. One thing the Flames were able to do and should be able to do again is stretch the field. The Flames ended up averaging 33 points a game and that definitely can continue as the skill position players is a deep spot for the team.

Defensively the Flames were not as good as what they would have liked to have been. However, for a first year team Liberty was not that horrible as they gave up only 36.8 points a game and did not look like they were outmatched too bad in their games. In fact, the Flames defense was able to contain the Army offense to only 38 points, which was definitely impressive against a great offense.
