The Syracuse Orange are set to visit Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham, North Carolina for an ACC clash against the Duke Blue Devils. The Syracuse Orange come into this matchup with a 3-6 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent home game against the Boston College Eagles, 58-27. Sophomore QB Tommy DeVito had a big game through the air for Syracuse as he connected on 25 of his 36 pass attempts for 289 yards and 3 TDs. Junior WR Trishton Jackson was the top target for DeVito and the Orange as he hauled in 8 catches for 148 yards and 2 TDs.

The Syracuse Orange struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Boston College Eagles as they allowed them to score 58 points and rack up a total of 691 yards of offense. Senior LB Lakiem Williams led the way for the Syracuse defense with 15 tackles and 1 TFL. Sophomore DB Andre Cisco had a productive game from the secondary for the Orange as he contributed 9 tackles and a forced fumble.

The Duke Blue Devils come into matchup with a 4-5 record, and they will be looking to rebound after dropping their recent home game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 38-7. Senior QB Quentin Harris struggled to get much offense generated through the air for Duke as he connected on 16 of his 28 pass attempts for 102 yards, 1 TD, and 1 interception. Junior RB Deon Jackson was bottled up by the Notre Dame defense as he racked up 52 yards on 14 carries.

The Duke Blue Devils struggled on the defensive side of the ball against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish as they allowed them to score 38 points and rack up a total of 469 yards of offense. Senior LB Koby Quansah led the way for the Duke defense with 11 tackles and 1 TFL. Freshman LB Shaka Heyward had a productive game for the Blue Devils as he contributed 6 tackles, 2 TFL, and 1 sack while also hauling in an interception.

The Syracuse Orange have been a big disappointment this season as their only wins have come against Holy Cross, Western Michigan, and Liberty. Duke has been in a funk on the offensive side of the ball as of recent as they haven’t eclipsed 17 points in their last 3 games, but I expect them to get their groove back, similar to the beginning of the season where they scored 40 points 4 different times. The Syracuse Orange have been awful on both sides of the ball this season as they rank 98th in points scored and 90th in points allowed. Duke should try and resemble Boston College’s success on the ground as they ran for 496 yards on the Orange defense, and they should have no problem winning this game at home. Final Score Prediction, Duke Blue Devils win and cover ATS 38-24.
