On Saturday, the South Florida Bulls visit Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, Connecticut to play the UConn Huskies. South Florida fell to 1-3 on the season and 0-1 in the AAC following its 48-21 loss on Saturday to the SMU Mustangs. South Florida trailed 34-0 at the half and 41-7 after three quarter and was never in the game. Blake Barnett threw a touchdown pass in the loss. 

UConn is 1-3 following its 56-21 loss to UCF on Saturday. The Huskies have lost three straight since opening with a win. UConn has lost each of 7 opening games of the AAC and 12 straight in conference play. Steven Krajewski took over at quarterback during the game for UConn and passed for 273 yards and three touchdowns. Krajewski is a red-shirt freshman and will start against the Bulls.

Blake Barnett leads South Florida with 434 yards passing, four touchdowns and two interceptions. The leading rusher for the Bulls is Jordan McCloud with 82 yards and two touchdowns, while the leading receiver is Mitchell Wilcox with 178 yards and three touchdowns. Patrick Macon leads all tacklers for South Florida with 21.

Steven Krajewski has thrown for 277 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. The leading rusher for UConn is Kevin Mensah with 328 yards and two touchdowns, while the leading receiver is Cameron Ross with 206 yards and one touchdown. Omar Fortt leads all tacklers for UConn with 29. 

Both teams are having poor seasons. However, UConn has shown some life with its new starting quarterback Steven Krajewski who came off the bench to throw for over 270 yards and three touchdowns in a loss to UCF.
