On Saturday December 29 the South Carolina Gamecocks play the Virginia Cavaliers in the Belk Bowl at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. South Carolina ended its regular season with a 28-3 win over Akron in a makeup game. Bryce Perkins leads Virginia in passing with 2,472 yards, 21 touchdowns and nine interceptions. The leading rusher for the Cavaliers is Jordan Ellis with 920 yards and nine touchdowns. Perkins has 842 yards on the ground and nine rushing touchdowns. Olaminde Zaccheaus leads the Cavaliers with 81 receptions for 958 yards and six touchdowns.

The South Carolina offense led by quarterback Jake Bentley with weapons Bryan Edwards and Deebo Samuel will be tough for Virginia to stop. The Cavaliers had two losses to end the regular season and will find it hard to keep up with the offense of the Gamecocks in this one.
