The Rutgers Scarlet Knights (1 - 1) are on the road this week in order to square off against the hometown Kansas Jayhawks (1 - 1). Kansas will be hosting this game at the Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, KS. Kansas will come into this game as the slight favorites against a Rutgers team that has been notably resilient. Kansas has the home crowd behind them and the Jayhawks will look to build off of last week's blowout win over CMU. Rutgers, on the other hand, will try to quickly wash away last week's blowout loss to #4 OSU.

Rutgers will be taking the field a week removed from a 52 - 3 blowout defeat at the hands of #4 OSU. Rutgers is a better team than they showed, but fans will have to find out just how much better. Rutgers is averaging just 19 PPG on offense this season and things won't get better until QB Artur Sitkowski (243 yards, 1 TD, 4 INT) begins to shape up under center. Rutgers is surrendering 30 PPG to opposing teams on Kansas has been gritty on both sides of the ball and we expect that to continue in this game. Kansas is averaging 27 PPG on offense and the Jayhawks are fueled by the plymaking ability of QB Peyton Bender (317 yards, 3 TD). Bender and his wide out Kerr Johnson Jr (7 catches, 122 yards, 2 TDs) have looked great together and that tandem will be our duo to watch in this game.
