Rice at UTSA 10/16/21 - College Football Picks & Predictions

The Rice Owls visit Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday to play the UTSA Roadrunners. Rice improved to 2-3 overall and 1-0 in the Conference USA following a 24-19 victory over the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles last Saturday. UTSA improved to 6-0 following a 52-46 victory over Western Kentucky on Saturday night. The Roadrunners were led by quarterback Frank Harris who passed for 349 yards with six touchdowns and one interception. Sincere McCormick rushed for 120 yards and De’Corian Clarke had 160 yards receiving and three touchdowns. UTSA gained 564 yards of total offense but the Roadrunners defense gave up 670 yards of total offense to WKU.

Quarterback Frank Harris has passed for 1,475 yards with 12 touchdowns and three interceptions, while running backs and Sincere McCormick has 661 yards and six touchdowns. The leading receiver for UTSA is Joshua Cephus with 457 yards and three touchdowns receptions. On defense, Safety Rashad Wisdom is the leading tackler with 38 and linebacker Clarence Hicks is the leader in quarterback sacks with 3.5. Four players for UTSA each have one interception. 

The UTSA offense led by quarterback Frank Harris will be too much for the Rice defense to stop.
