Hard Rock Stadium will play host to a Saturday afternoon ACC Conference battle between the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Miami Hurricanes. The Panthers (3-2) started the season strong with three consecutive victories, but limp into this contest having lost two straight. On Saturday, Pittsburgh K Alex Kessman missed an extra point in the first overtime period of a 31-30 road loss against Boston College.

Senior signal caller Kenny Pickett threw for 266 yards and two touchdowns. Pittsburgh RB Vincent Davis was limited on the ground to 46 yards on 17 attempts and a score.

The Miami Hurricanes have gained plenty of national attention and are one of the most improved teams in the country for second year head coach Manny Diaz. On Saturday night, Miami was outclassed during a 42-17 road loss against number one ranked Clemson. The Hurricanes returned a blocked field goal for a touchdown to make it 21-10 at halftime, but managed just 210 yards of total offense.

Miami transfer QB D’Eriq King rushed for 84 yards and the team’s only offensive touchdowns, but threw two interceptions. TE Brevin Jordan caught three passes for 31 yards and was injured on the night.
