The Nittany Lions are heading into Iowa to face a Hawkeyes team that is coming off of a loss. The Penn State squad, though, is heading into the game here with a big win and one that the Nittany Lions did not even look challenged. That will definitely help the team out quite a bit in this game as they are going to be one of those teams that may need to keep their momentum going.

The Hawkeyes recently loss the game they played to the Michigan Wolverines. However, it was a low scoring game that saw the Hawkeyes offense that has been one of the best in the Big Ten completely tied up. The Hawkeyes defense, though, ended up playing well enough to only allow 10 points to a power packed Wolverines offense.
The Iowa team has been able to average a total of 33.5 points a game. The passing attack has managed to get 247.5 yards a game, but the rushing attack is getting 217.5 yards a game. When the Hawkeyes have to play defense the team has given up only 8.5 points a game on average. The team has allowed 174 yards a game in the air, but on the ground the team has given up 77 yards a game.
